Do céu ao líquido

(From the sky to the liquid)


These work departed from "Connections between planes, Continuity and Raccord", in which I intended to establish relationships between the four dimensions of nature (water, earth, fire, air), placing two videos side by side, usually about the same element (e.g. water and water). This video tries to be exhaustive; this characteristic is transmitted through the repetition of the same elements (e.g. water and water) or the introduction of another element (e.g. water and air).

Just as the videos, placed side by side to add more dimension to the work, also the sounds where edited in parallel tracks, as I aimed to relate two sound tracks, in general, throughout each pair of videos.


For the sound of the video, I reused, with some adaptations, the sound created by me for the video BUFFALO RUNNING in the dark. I also resorted to other sounds that I took from the online platform BuscaSons. These were sounds of: bats, crickets, landslides, rocks, a dryer, a tractor and the sound of a snake hissing.
The video and sound were edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.
